Accommodation
This Trader 41 plus 2 offers eight berths in three cabins and the saloon. The vessel has over six feet headroom throughout.
FORWARD CABIN;
Forward guest cabin with double V berth or 2 singles,. Hanging wardrobe, drawers and cupboards. Very light and airy with portholes and overhead deck hatch. All finished in a rich cherry wood. 240V sockets
MIDSHIP CABIN
Two single bunk bed berths to port, Hanging wardrobe, drawers, lockable cupboard, 240v sockets, a nice size guest cabin again that is light and airy
MIDSHIP HEADS:
Situated opposite the port cabin is a large shower and electric freshwater toilet compartment. Stainless steel port hole sink and shower.
SALOON:
A very comfortable saloon all finished in matching cherry wood which is a feature of the whole interior of the boat. It has U shaped seating round a large polished cherry wood table. The saloon has ample storage and boasts a pull-out drinks cabinet. This is a light and comfortable space to spend time enjoying the boat and looking at whats happening in the marina or at anchorage .
INTERNAL HELM;
The internal helm position is forward and to starboard and has extensive instrumentation with every navigational aid you will need to go on extended cruises. It has a chart area to port and a chart cupboard in the centre. .
GALLEY:
The well equipped galley is to starboard and forward of the master aft cabin. It has a four burner gas stove with full size oven and grill, 12V Fridge and los sof storage spaces above and below the worktops for food, cooking utensils and pots and pans.
MASTER AFT CABIN:
The master aft cabin has a very large island offset berth. There is a good size dressing table and extensive storage lockers. The aft master cabin is light and airy due to the number of portholes and the opening deck hatch. It has two hanging cupboards.
AFT EN-SUITE HEADS:
The aft en-suite heads has a separate shower and hip-bath as well as a sink with storage cupboard beneath and cupboard veside. It has an electric freshwater flush heads with holding tank.
EXTERNALLY:
This Trader 41 has a large aft deck which provides a great area to sit out and watch the sun go down. A couple of steps, under which a teak folding table is stored, lead up to the flybridge which has helmsman seats and an array of repeated navigation instruments.
General:
This motor yacht has curtains throughout with venetian blinds in the saloon included. Both heads are switchable between the holding tanks and overboard. Both showers drain to a sump pump with an automatic pump out overboard.
Mechanical and Rigging
Mechanical Systems:
This Trader 41+2 is fitted with twin Volvo Penta TAMD 61A 306hp six cylinder turbo charged diesel engines with approx. 1,000 hours as at April 2023. Morse controls at internal helm and flybridge. The engines were last professionally serviced in February 2023. Fresh water cooled. Shaft drive to 3 bronze propellers with rope cutters. Total fuel capacity is 1380 litres across two steel tanks.
She has a cruising speed of 8 knots and a maximum speed of 15 knots. The 4HP through tunnel bow thruster and the twin engines makes berthing easy.
Electrical Systems
There are four 12v batteries fitted, 2 x domestic, 1 x engine start and 1 x 70AH all batteries have been replace in 2024. Batteries are charged by the engine alternator and via a battery charger via the 240v ring main. There is also a 240v immersion heater. There is a HFL 6KVA generator that is currently not in use.

History and Construction:
This Trader 41+2 was built in 1994. It has a white GRP hull and superstructure with areas of GRP and Teak Deck. It was built to a design by Tarquin and Tony Chappell in Taiwan. The vessel has been owned by the current owner since 2015. She was last out of the water in January 2022 when she was antifouled, hull polished and anodes changed. The owner has an inventory of service history. The engines were last serviced in February 2023. The vessel is very reluctantly being sold due to ill health.
